What kinds of cars do you sell?
Esntial Motors brings a large inventory of late-model, low- mileage vehicles to you. Before any vehicle is added to inventory, it must pass a rigorous inspection.
What if I do not want to keep my vehicle?

What does 'personalize your payments' mean?
When you first visit Esntial Motors, the rates and monthly payments you see for each vehicle are averages and not based on your individual credit score and down payment.

These estimates are designed to provide you an estimate of your monthly payment. Your actual monthly payments will vary based on your personal credit.

Personalized payments provide estimates of your monthly payments, empowering you to see financing details on most vehicles, including:

  • Rates
  • Terms
  • Local taxes and fees

Like pre-qualification, getting your personalized payments will not impact your credit.Unlocking your personalized payments is quick and easy. It takes just a few moments to fill some basic information.Personalized payments are estimates based on limited information you provide to us and not an offer or commitment to provide credit or financing. Eligibility for credit and actual payments are based on the results of your credit application.
Can I finance my car on Esntial Motors?
Yes! Esntial Motors allows you to apply for an auto loan directly on the site through our financing partners. Once you find a vehicle you love, applying for an auto loan on Esntial Motors is a snap, especially if you are already seeing personalized payments. We will pre-fill much of the credit application using info you have already provided to us to save you time.
Can I buy a vehicle even if I don’t finance it on Esntial Motors?
Yes! You can pay with cash or bring your own third-party financing by choosing the cash option when submitting your order or calling 1-800-ESNTIAL.
Can I negotiate a vehicle’s price?
The prices you see on Esntial Motors are non-negotiable. Our vehicles are priced competitively. Your purchase details are clearly displayed and explained so you always know exactly what you are paying.
Can I trade in or sell my current car on Esntial Motors?
Yes, through the purchase process you can easily obtain an Instant Cash Offer (ICO), directly through our integration with Kelley Blue Blook for your vehicle. You can either sell it outright or apply its value as your trade-in towards your vehicle purchase.
What is the trade-in process like?
You have direct access to Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer, a trade-in valuation tool built into our eCommerce Site. Just enter your vehicle details and obtain a value.

The Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer provides a firm offer presuming an accurate description of the vehicle is provided. You can then use the equity value as part-payment for a new vehicle. The physical trade-in will take place at the point of delivery.

The Esntial Motors delivery agent will verify the trade-in vehicle matches the condition provided in the Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer process.
Can I trade in more than one vehicle with my purchase?
Only one vehicle can be traded in per purchase.
What if I owe more on my trade-in than it is worth?
This means you have negative equity. You can still use it to finance a car on Esntial Motors, but may affect the rate and loan terms.
What if KBB ICO is unable to give me a value on my trade-in?
Sometimes our algorithm gets stumped. You can call us at 1-800-ESNTIAL for additional options for your trade in.
What does “Sale Pending” mean?
You may occasionally see a vehicle labeled Sale Pending, meaning another customer is currently placing an order on it. However, if that customer does not continue with the purchase, the vehicle will be released back into our inventory and be available again.
Do your vehicles purchased online come with warranties?
The majority of our vehicles are still supported by the manufacturer warranty, but if that coverage is set to expire prior to X months or X,000 miles from date of purchase, we supplement it with a Limited Warranty to ensure coverage at no cost to you. Either way, you are covered for X months or X,000 miles from time of purchase! It’s just one more way we give you peace of mind today and down the road.

Do you offer additional plans to help me protect my vehicle?
We offer several Aftermarket Product Protection Plans for purchase to help you extend your peace of mind.
Some include plans for bumper-to-bumper coverage, tire & wheel, dent & dings, windshield and key replacements, GAP insurance and so much more.
As you move through Esntial Motors to purchase your vehicle, we will present you with a few aftermarket products that align with your personalized needs and will protect your new vehicle.
How does vehicle registration work?
In most cases, we can complete the registration process for you. We handle the necessary title and registration paperwork with you at the time of delivery, and then we complete the rest with the DMV. The vehicle will come with a temporary operating plate and once registration is completed, we will mail your permanent plates and registration. Some state restrictions, emissions/safety inspection requirements, or additional fees may apply.

How do I take delivery of my vehicle?
Upon completion of your purchase, an Esntial Motors representative will contact you to schedule delivery to your door. Rest assured we make it easy, as online car buying should be – as well as contact free in adherence to our COVID-19 safety protocols.
Is delivery included?
Delivery costs within X,000 miles of the vehicle location are included in the Delivery and Servicing Fee. For deliveries outside of that radius, additional transportation fees may apply. Please rest assured that we will review any additional fees, if applicable, with you in detail prior to completing your purchase.
