Our Limited Warranty Keeps the Road Ahead Smooth
The majority of our vehicles are still supported by the manufacturer warranty, but if that coverage is set to expire prior to X months or X,000 miles from date of purchase, we provide you with a Limited Warranty to ensure that you are covered at no cost to you. It’s just one more way we give our online customers peace of mind today and down the road.
How long is my limited warranty effective?
You have coverage until the earlier to occur of: (a) X months from the date you purchase the vehicle; or (b) when your vehicle has been driven X,000 miles. We start counting miles from the time that you take possession of the vehicle from us.
What's covered?
Engine:
All internal parts that require lubrication, cylinder block, cylinder heads, oil pan, valve covers and timing cover if damaged by an internally lubricated part, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds without internal catalytic converter, water pump, fuel pump, engine mounts, timing belt and tensioner, harmonic balancer and its bolts and pulley, supercharger/turbocharger and waste gate (factory installed), hybrid or electric drive motors/generator/regeneration motors, fuel cell/stack, seals and gaskets for listed parts.
Transmission/Transfer Case:
All internal parts that require lubrication, transmission/transaxle case, transfer case body, transmission pan, extension housing and bell housing if damaged by an internally lubricated part, torque converter, flywheel/flexplate, ring gear, transmission mounts, reduction/reducer gear box, transmission electronic control unit, seals and gaskets for listed parts.
Drive Axle:
All internal parts that require lubrication, differential housing and cover if damaged by an internally lubricated part, front and rear wheel drive axle shafts and bearings, constant velocity joints, universal joints, drive shafts and yokes, center support and bearings, hub bearings, four-wheel drive hub locking assemblies and actuator motors, electric vehicle power regeneration unit, seals and gaskets for listed parts.
Brakes:
Master cylinder, vacuum assist booster, wheel cylinders and calipers, hydraulic lines and fittings.
Steering:
Steering gear/rack, power steering pump and reservoir.
Electrical:
Alternator, starter, ignition coil and distributor.
Cooling:
Radiator.

How much does it cost?
Our Limited Warranty is included with every online purchase where the vehicle manufacturer warranty is set to expire prior to X months or X,000 miles from date of purchase. There is no additional charge for this coverage.
Are there any extra requirements to maintain the warranty?
Simply follow the manufacturer's published maintenance requirements and maintain proper fluid levels and you're covered.
Where can I have repairs done?
We can handle all your repairs. However, if you’re unable to make it back to our dealership, you are free to have your vehicle repaired at any approved, licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada. When your vehicle suffers a breakdown, you should immediately call a warranty administrator toll free at 1-800-ESNTIAL (1-800-376-8425) prior to obtaining service if you think the repairs may be covered under this warranty.
Who administers the Limited Warranty?
The Limited Warranty is administered by Pablo Creek Services, Inc., a member of the Allstate family of companies. Allstate is the largest publicly held personal lines property and casualty insurer in America. Can I upgrade my protection?
Definitely! Ask how you can protect more of your vehicle for longer with an Allstate® Vehicle Service Contract.
Why is the warranty different for vehicles purchased online?
The certified and powertrain warranties that we offer in-store require that the vehicle be repaired at a Esntial Motors location. However, most of our online customers are outside of a convenient distance for this coverage, so we partnered with Allstate to offer protection for our online customers. The best part is that you are free to have your vehicle repaired at any approved, licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada.
I am a previous Esntial Motors customer and/or I am close to a Esntial Motors store location, but I want to buy online. Will you honor the in-store warranty and guarantees for an online purchase?
We would be happy to do so, but the warranty decision must be made at time of purchase. Please note that the in-store warranties and guarantees vary on a by vehicle basis and are not available on vehicles marked as “Online Exclusive.” Please give us a call toll free at 1-800-ESNTIAL or chat with us so we can review your options!
